Traffic Light Discs for Schools

Our Traffic Light Communication Discs are supplied as a set of three (Red, Amber, and Green) and are widely utilized across primary schools, secondary education, and SEND environments. They serve as a highly effective non-verbal visual aid system, helping teachers manage transitions and allowing students with speech, language, or communication difficulties to subtly express their emotional or working state.

Precision laser cut from high-quality 3mm gloss acrylic, these tokens feature smooth, completely safe edges. Unlike laminated paper alternatives, these solid acrylic discs are highly durable, shatterproof, and can be easily wiped clean or sanitized daily for long-term classroom use.

Designed for Lanyards & Classroom Use

Each token is supplied pre-drilled with a single clean hole at the top, making them instantly ready to slip onto a teacher’s lanyard, a student’s keyring, or a desk clip.

• Green Disc: Signals ‘ready to work’, ‘understanding the task’, or ‘all clear’.

• Amber Disc: Signals ‘confused’, ‘need assistance soon’, or a ‘warning/transition phase’.

• Red Disc: Signals ‘stop immediately’, ‘overwhelmed’, or ‘urgent help required’.
