Southern Acrylics has a returns policy that outlines the conditions under which customers can return goods purchased from them. Here are the key points from their policy:

 

Defective or Incorrect Goods: If the goods are either defective in material or not per the order, they will be replaced or refunded at Southern Acrylics' discretion with no extra costs.

 

EU Distance Selling Regulations: Customers' rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Regulations.

Restocking and Administration Charge: Products may be returned, but a 20% restocking and administration charge will be applied if they are in their original condition and original packaging.

 

Custom-Made Goods: Goods that have been custom-made to order, such as cut-to-size acrylic sheets, cannot be returned.

Shipping and Collection Costs: All shipping and collection costs for returning products will be at the customers' expense.

Responsibility for Safe Return: Customers are solely responsible for ensuring the safe return of goods undamaged. They are advised to check the product for damage upon receipt and take appropriate action if damage is suspected.

 

Notifying Damage: If the product is suspected to be damaged, customers can choose not to accept the goods, which will then be returned to Southern Acrylics for inspection and processing of a replacement or refund.

 

Notification of Shortages or Damaged Items: Any shortages or damaged items must be reported to Southern Acrylics within 24 hours.

 

Inspection of Returned Items: Returned items will be inspected for signs of use, and if they are in a re-saleable condition, a 20% restocking and administration charge will be applied, and a refund will be issued.

 

Refund Guarantee: If payment has been received in advance, Southern Acrylics guarantees to refund any outstanding monies within 7 days of receipt of the returned goods.

 

Faulty Goods: If the goods supplied are faulty, they are covered by manufacturers' guarantees, and they can be returned for an immediate replacement or a full refund within the guarantee period.

 

Definition of "Faults": "Faults" are defined as manufacturing defects, not those caused by incorrect installation, abuse, or fair wear and tear.

 

Statutory Rights: These guarantees are in addition to consumers' statutory rights.

 

Cancelling an Order: Customers have 7 working days from the day following receipt of goods to notify Southern Acrylics in writing of cancellation. Goods must be in new and re-saleable condition for the return.

Cancellation of Certain Items: Certain stock items can be easily cancelled, but items like acrylic sheets or non-stock items ordered specifically for a customer can only be cancelled if the order has not already been processed.
